Little Bitty Farm is a small family farm in the heart of central Maryland, about 1 hour from Washington DC.  We raise just one or two litters of English Setters a year in our home.  Our goal is to produce a wonderful pet which is fun for the whole family.  We are breeding medium size dogs which fit easily into family homes and lives.  
  

The personality of English Setters makes them particularly special as a family pet.  Long considered a Gentlemen’s hunting dog, this breed loves the family life and joins your home as a member of your family.  They are well suited as pets for children as they are very patient and tolerant.   We choose to breed our dogs to make high quality puppies available to area families who will enjoy them as much as we do.

Our English setters each have a unique look which sets them apart from other breeds. Each one is different and delightful and beautiful.  Our puppies have either an orange and white, black and white or a tri-colored coat. The light coat is stylish with easy to maintain feathering.  Many have large patches of color on their face and body. All have small tick marks of color which appear as the puppies grow. 

Our dogs are from hunting lines, both the old fashioned Llewellyn lines and more modern field dog lines.  We are crossing the two types to maintain genetic diversity and to produce the size and coat quality that suit the suburban life style.
